Children though have the tiniest of eyes but they’re all empty with nothing inside. So with every sight, they want to fill their eyes with the beauty of this world; this materialistic world which is nothing but an illogical space to them and their curious eyes are always looking for that missing piece that solves the puzzle. They learn the most during this beginning period and reading therefore should be an essential part of this phase. So children should be encouraged to read. But when they’re busy playing with their friends or watching cartoons, it’s difficult diverting their attention to a book with lifeless characters; that’s how they spell images in comparison to cartoons. But what if they’re themselves a part of that story? What if they’re playing the lead hero who’s going to save the beautiful princess? There’s a spark, right! That’s what they thought.
We’re talking about the developers of this new iOS app called Lemon Tree. The app is a story book or should we say, a collection of story books that have been designed and developed by The Lemon Tree Book Company. The app is compatible with iPad only and requires iOS 6.0 or any later version of the OS.
The Lemon Tree app is a collection of 8 personalized stories, all featuring your child. But what if you have more than one child and that as well a boy and a girl? Don’t worry as you can change the names anytime. So before starting with a story, you’re asked to enter the names of your children, his/her friends, etc. Then all these names replace the original titles and it’s a brand new story every time for the reader.
There’s a very charming resonance to each of the stories in Lemon Tree. The writers have kept the storyline simple but stuffed it with enough magical fascinations and adventurous rides so that the children will always be glued to find out what the next page reveals.
With graphic illustrations and fun-facts in every story, the developers have accommodated enough spices to keep the interest of the children alive. Moreover, there’s a variation over the subject matter which further excites and amuses the zealous minds of the young children. On one hand, you have a family of dinosaurs playing hide-and-seek and then you’re playing the role of a private detective who’s ever persistent to solve the puzzle.

Just to remind you that you don’t always need to come in and change the names for your children. Apart from a qwerty keyboard, the game also has a chalkboard keyboard for children to write names themselves. It’s easy for them to understand and help them get acquainted with the system of names in a more playful way.
Overall Lemon Tree is a fun-filled educative collection of story books that your child would love to read and play a part in. The app is available for $2.99 in the App Store including all the 8 stories and there are no in-app purchases. So what are you waiting for?
